Cassandra Lost in Books

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!

The cover is perfect, what’s not to love :)  Both animal and beast are sexy :)

Okay even though the blurb does not mention it, this is a serial series.  What does this mean?  It is one book that is published in parts or pieces to get them to us the readers more quickly.  Guess what, this means the parts usually end in a cliffhanger, and this one definitely does.  If this bothers you, I recommend waiting to read until you have all the parts or usually the author does sell a set of all parts bundled together after all the parts are published.  This is for adults only due to the steamy content.  This is only about 40ish pages, so it is a quick read.

I really enjoyed reading this story, and it made me happy while reading it.  This part is a happy everything is roses story, so not much action just Evan and Kerri getting to know each other, and details of Kerri’s backpacking adventure.  Evan is still a mystery.  He seems sweet and sexy and loaded but has secrets.  Kerri is smart and very brave.  I don’t know that I have what it takes to backpack all over the world especially to places you do not know the language.  I wish I was made of the same stuff, and I had the fortune to stumble across my own Evan :)

Claire and Eva’s writing is seamless.  You cannot tell that two authors wrote this.  Their words weave together to make pictures come alive in my head making the story come to life.  I can’t wait to read more of this serial :)

I recommend this story to my shifter friends who like a feel good story and don’t mind books in serial form.
