The cover is beautiful and desperate all at the same time!  Love it!!

This is book 9 in the series and the first book dealing with the war.  Of course, this whole series is for adults only due to the violence and steamy scenes contained within the pages.  It stars my favorite people…vampires are considered people too, right ;)  Anywho, Raphael and Cyn are here and all their friends!!

WOW!!  I can’t even put into words how much I loved this book!  The books with Cyn and Raphael are always my favorites, but this was the best of the best in the series!!  Their personalities, interactions, and of course the people who love them just make everything click together perfectly.  Cyn definitely had her work cut out for her in this book.  All of our favorites are here, and we get to know Ken’ichi (Juro’s brother) better :)

D.B.’s creativity is amazing in her storylines and plot.  Her words are always perfection that images leap off the pages and into your head as you read.  You can always feel the emotion of the characters that if you like me…you really love, so you feel their pain, relief, and joy right along with them.  It is like being Bastien in the Neverending Story right there with the characters.  D.B. is on my list of favorite vampire romance series.  She blends tons of action with lots of love and steamy romance and does with a perfection that makes each story an epic adventure that you do not want to put down.

I highly recommend this entire series to all readers who enjoy vampire books.  If you are a fan of vampire books written by Lynsay Sands or Kerrelyn Sparks, and you have never read this series….what are you thinking??  You really need to :)
