Okay to start out, I love the cover. It grabbed my attention to read it.
I love superheroes :) At first, I have to admit that I was confused and lost. I didn’t get into the book until about half way through and the author totally surprised me because I didn’t see where the ending was going. I love when an author does that. I think this book had some awkwardness being the first in the series, but I think this series is going to be fabulous in the coming books. I definitely wonder about Zola before her retirement and want to read more about her and her friends. Superheroes are people too, and they have drama just like us. That’s what this book is about.
If you are interested in superheroes and the drama that goes with the job, you will definitely enjoy this book. Keep in mind this contains adult content and is not YA.
