The cover shows Joseph’s amazing eyes :) I have a thing for eyes ;)
This series is great and I love it, but this book fell a little short for me. I feel like it was building towards something awesome, but then I was at the end. Rosa was meek and unconfident in this book, but she was starting to become the fighter she was in book 1 toward the end which is what I love about her. We have some new friends in this book and of course our returning favorites.
I’m betting the next book is going to be phenomenal. I think because we were introduced to a new way of life in this book that it felt like the first book in a series where you learn all sorts of things about characters and the world, but there wasn’t enough action for me. I definitely think you should read this because it is building to something great, and I can’t wait to see where it goes next. :)
